This week we’ll be seeing a large number of airlines come out with their fourth quarter reports. I think it’s safe to say that we can expect most, if not all, reports to be negative. Many speculated that Southwest Airlines would be the only carrier to make a profit – and it did, if you put aside the special costs (fuel hedging). So, without further delay, here’s the list: Tuesday: Delta Air Lines, Wednesday: AirTran Airways, Thursday: Alaska Airlines, US Airways, JetBlue Airways, Continental Airlines.
